QA Intern – Software Testing

Job Description

Matrix Mantra is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our software development team. This is a 6-month remote internship suitable for IT students, undergraduates, recent graduates, or candidates who are starting their career in Software Quality Assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• •Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• •Prepare and execute basic test cases and test scenarios.
• •Identify, document, and report software bugs.
• •Re-test bugs after fixes.
• •Perform functional, UI, responsive, and regression testing.
• •Check different user flows and edge cases.
• •Work closely with developers to understand and resolve issues.
• •Maintain basic QA documentation and testing reports.
• •Support the team in ensuring software quality before releases.

Requirements

• •Currently studying or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• •Basic understanding of Software Testing and QA concepts.
• •Basic knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• •Understanding of basic manual testing.
• •Ability to write simple test cases.
• •Ability to identify and clearly explain bugs.
• •Good attention to detail.
• •Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• •Good communication and documentation skills.
• •Willingness to learn and work with a development team.
• •Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work.

Nice to Have

• •Basic knowledge of Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar tools.
• •Basic knowledge of Postman/API testing.
• •Basic understanding of SQL/database testing.
• •Previous academic or personal testing experience.
